Rehabilitation is more than ensuring your pet is mobile after an injury or surgery. We want to support your pet throughout the recovery process to ensure their quality of life isn’t affected by any changes in their health. Our holistic approach integrates the best of both worlds, ancient practices and modern medicine, to provide your pet with the best treatment for their needs.
What is a holistic approach to rehabilitation?
Our holistic approach examines your pet’s health and integrates treatments that will contribute to their overall wellbeing. Depending on your pet’s health condition, we also use a combination of treatments for the best results, including:
- Chiropractic/postural rehabilitation
- Chinese herbs
- Low-level laser therapy
- Natural supplements
- Therapeutic exercises
How does rehabilitation help with pain management?
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, Dr. Veronica uses her holistic approach to support pets with orthopedic trauma, muscle injury/strain, neurological injuries and degenerative joint conditions. These conditions can be painful for your pet, depending on if the issue is acute or chronic. Rehabilitation can decrease inflammation and generate healing. Your pet’s mobility, range of motion and progression of their health condition can be slowed down or stopped altogether. We’ll create a treatment plan based on the areas we’re targeting to determine the type of rehabilitation and the duration best suited for your pet.
